This live class will demonstrate how the Google apps platform* will allow you to create, print, publish, and market quality material seamlessly without the assistance of an expensive graphics designer or marketing team or the annoyance of having to log into different apps for different media. The platform we teach you on is FREE, easy to use, and quality materials can be created in your spare time, whether you have free minutes or a few hours.
We instruct you in elements of planning and implementing a marketing campaign from start to finish, bringing your message and passion into the view of your potential and loyal client base.
Our affiliate company, Hands on Health, LLC employs the tools and platform used in this class. You can view the results of our published material by visiting our Hands-on Health FB page, Instagram page, joining our newsletter, or visiting our website. Learn from our model and you won’t have to reinvent the process.
Massage therapist attendees will have the opportunity to experience the ease and efficiency of using a streamlined approach to creative design that increases marketing productivity and allows a busy small business owner to contribute effectively to brand consistency and brand awareness.
Utilizing presentation, lecture, and lab formats, students will be introduced to and practice using a singular business marketing and management platform to produce and repurpose marketing materials.
The platform that will be demonstrated and practiced in class is the Google management platform, a generous and free resource for small businesses and teachers. Other similar platforms such as Microsoft office and Apple’s iCloud will be briefly mentioned as alternate options whereby the skills learned on the Google platform are transferable to these cost-based alternatives.
By way of presentation, students will be shown the steps involved and in lab subsequently practice designing a printable flyer and converting and repurposing the design into other print and social media marketing posts and advertisements.
After taking this class, a practitioner will have acquired the knowledge needed to adopt this platform and save much needed time, eliminate costly marketing resources, and reduce frustration and fear involved in taking care of marketing business.
Take Note! Access to a laptop or computer is necessary to fully benefit from this course (best case scenario is a laptop. Second best but not even close to ideal, you can bring a tablet).
If you come ahead of time, you can set up a computer station if that’s all you have. If by any chance you don’t have access to any of these items, call us and we’ll see if we have equipment you can borrow.
This class compliments elements of the social media basics class “Essentials of Effective Social Media” and the Facebook-specific marketing class “Getting Smart with Facebook Ads”.
*Webinar version is 2CE taught by William Dickinson using the Canva app instead of the Google platform. This webinar version solely focuses on content creation and not cross platorm utilization.
