Jaw and Craniofacial treatment class for massage therapists

Learn to apply internal jaw treatments to muscles contributing to TMJD and headache and facial pain patterns. Posterior and lateral neck will be addressed generally.

PREPARING FOR CLASS:

All NMT classes address myofascial and neuromuscular techniques and bodywork philosophies. Recommended text: Netter’s Atlas Of Human Anatomy books and The Trail Guide books are great resources as well as any other anatomy books you may already have on hand in your personal library. It helps to familiarize yourself with the following muscles and regions JAW, TMD, TMJD, CRANIOFACIAL: Masseter, Temporalis, Zygomaticus, medial and lateral Pterygoids, Mylohyoid, Digastric, tongue and throat muscles, Cranial and facial muscles and structures.
